Digital Gloss Meter

Digital Gloss Meter is a device that is used for measuring surface gloss or what is called specular reflection which is a light reflection similar to mirror. For measuring the surface gloss, a beam of light is directed on a surface at a specific angle and with certain intensity. The light is reflected from the surface at an equal but opposite angle. Digital Gloss Meter then measures the intensity of this reflected light to measure the surface gloss. The meter is a handy device which is used at various stages of production in industries, such as paper, automotive, electronic appliances, etc. for ensuring uniformity in surface gloss.
